What are our next steps?

Working together towards a Predator Free Bay of Plenty

Imagine a Bay of Plenty where native birdsong is part of everyday life, our green spaces are thriving, and native wildlife has a safer place to live.

A predator free Bay of Plenty is a big goal, but big conservation change starts with communities taking action together.

Learning from Miramar Wellington

Did you know Miramar Wellington is predator free?

Miramar is showing what can happen when a community works together towards a shared predator free goal.

At our public meeting, Predator Free Wellington will share their story. How they got started, what they’ve achieved, and what they’ve learnt along the way.

Drawing on their expertise, experience and learnings, we’ll explore what we can take from the Miramar story and what the next steps could look like for the Bay of Plenty.
